Normal opening hours Monday to Thursday 7pm - 11pm, Friday 6pm 12pm Saturday 12 midday till 12pm  Sunday 12 midday till 11pm BEST BITTER OG 1044 ABV 4.3% A straw-coloured bitter which initially seems sweet, but a complex dry, hoppy taste soon predominates. Probably the best example of the traditional Black Country style of bitter. DARWIN’S ORIGINAL ABV: 4.3%  Colour: Copper Darwin’s Origin is an eclectic mix of hops from across the world but this blend produces a beer that offers something to everyone. Crisp, tart, fruity and refreshing but also with a juicy malt background. ORACLE ABV: 4.0%   Colour: Straw Style: The intention of the hop character is to be pronounced but not all encompassing, dry but not overtly bitter and a tiny hint of sweetness to add body. Its one of the most expensive of the Salopian beers to brew as it relies heavily on expensive hops from the US. EXMOOR GOLD 4.5% abv Back in 1986 when they produced the first modern Golden Ale, Exmoor Gold. Designed as a single-malt beer, this was a stunning counter balance to the traditional view of beer — which it had to be as brown as an old sideboard or as coal black as Irish Dry Stout. Exmoor Gold, instead, was the colour of Chardonnay or Carling, sparkling in the glass and appealing to both ale drinkers and lager lovers. BUTTY BACH ABV 4.5% Butty Bach' is Welsh for 'little friend'. This full-bodied, smooth and satisfying premium ale is burnished gold in colour, and certainly has made a few friends in its time. We brew it using Maris Otter and Crystal malts, flaked barley, malted wheat, and locally grown Fuggles, Goldings and Bramling Cross hops. With such fine ingredients, no wonder it remains a firm favourite among our followers.
