Description

Small sand beach with a rocky headland at the western end. Heavily populated with holiday makers in the height of summer. Late spring, autumn or night are the quietest times.

Best Bait

For bass crab, lug, razor fish or sand eel, bream take mackerel, sand eel and ragworm, flounder on lug worm, dogfish and whiting use mackerel, squid and sand eel.

Bass, bream, mackerel, dogfish and flounder

Winter Species

Whiting, dogfish and dabs

Tackle & Tactics

Standard beach gear weights 150g - 170g. 

Directions

Take the A449 from Pwllheli after approx 4 miles you'll see a petrol station at a left hand fork in the road. The lefthand fork is signposted for the beach, follow the road to the beach car park. In during the day there is a charge for using this car park. At all other times of the year it's free.
